Bilqis’s throne in the Quran from a quantum physics perspective
There are two possible explanations for this claim. One is that it was a miracle, which means that it defied the laws of nature and was performed by God’s power and permission. The other is that it was a manifestation of quantum phenomena, which means that it followed the laws of nature but was performed by human or jinn intervention. Quantum physics can offer some plausible mechanisms for how Sulaiman’s courtier, Asif ibn Barkhiya, was able to transport the throne from Yemen to Jerusalem. Such as quantum teleportation, quantum entanglement, and quantum tunneling.
Quantum teleportation is a process by which the quantum state of one particle can be transferred to another particle without any physical connection or information exchange. Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon by which two or more particles can share a quantum state and influence each other instantaneously, regardless of their distance or location. Quantum tunneling is an effect by which a particle can pass through a potential barrier that would normally be impossible to overcome.
Well, one possibility is that Asif ibn Barkhiya had access to some advanced technology or knowledge that allowed him to create a quantum link between the throne and another object in Jerusalem. He could then use quantum teleportation to transfer the quantum state of the throne to the other object, effectively swapping their positions. Another possibility is that he had some way of entangling the throne with another object in Jerusalem, and then manipulating their quantum states to make them exchange places. A third possibility is that he had some means of creating a wormhole, which is a theoretical tunnel in space-time that connects distant points, and then pushing the throne through it.
That sounds very speculative and hypothetical. It is, but it is not impossible. Quantum physics has shown us that reality is much stranger and more complex than we think. There are many things that we do not understand or cannot explain yet, but that does not mean that they are miracles or magic.
Sulaiman knew about Bilqis’s throne before she came to him? How did he get that information? Quantum physics has shown us that information can be encoded and transmitted in quantum states, and that observation can affect reality.
The Quran says that Asif ibn Barkhiya brought the throne by the power and permission of God, not by his own skill or technology. Well, maybe he was using God’s power and permission in a metaphorical sense. Maybe he was acknowledging God as the source and sustainer of all existence, including quantum phenomena. Maybe he was expressing his gratitude and humility to God for granting him such knowledge and ability.
